The herb, also known as verbena, has been drunk as a tea by shepherds since ancient times and used by doctors as a medicinal herb. Greek mountain tea is not a mixture, but the name of an herb that is native to the Mediterranean.

How does the tea taste?

Drunk as tea it has a pleasantly mild and sweet taste and smells of sage. You can refine the tea with lemon and / or cinnamon

How is the tea made?

Preparation:

Put about 5 to 10g of the plant in a suitable container for one liter of tea. You can not only use the flower, but also the stem. Boil the water and pour it over the plant parts. Let the tea steep for about 5 to 10 minutes, then remove the herbs. Alternatively and for a very intense taste, you put the 5-10g in a saucepan with a liter of water and let it boil for 10 minutes.
